Premier Education Group Trustee Seeks $19 Million for Alleged Breach of Contract
October 13, 2021, Eastern District of Pennsylvania – Plaintiff Trustee Christine C. Shubert for the estate of Premier Education Group, LP sues Defendants Trigram Education Partners, LLC and Minerva Inflection Strategies, LP for “breach of contract”, “unjust enrichment”, “turnover of property” and “detrimental reliance”.
The Trustee urges the Court to enter a judgment for the Plaintiff and against the Defendants for $19,159,718.04. Allegedly, the Debtor and the Defendants entered into a sales agreement, whereby the Defendants “agreed to assume and pay, perform and discharge substantially all of the Debtor’s liabilities and obligations”. The Trustee argues that the Defendants breached the contract and failed to deliver, perform or discharge the assumed liabilities and owe a sum of $19 million to the Debtor’s estate. The Trustee also asserts that the Debtor detrimentally relied on the Defendants’ promise to pay and perform the assumed liabilities.
